Moon-Viewing Pavilion (after Wang Hui)
Wang Hui's lovely painting was done in black ink and I have taken the liberty of doing my painting in color. I am sure he wouldn't mind.
Watercolor on Silk
approximately 18" x 24"
Matted and framed in simple black metal
On this photograph along the right edge there appears a dark area about one third of the width of the painting. This is a shadow on the photo and does not appear on the painting. A new photo will soon replace it.
Chinese landscape paintings blend in nicely with almost any décor, can be framed with metal or wood, and add a feeling of quiet harmony to any room.
